30 Days of Service is a non-profit organization I recently founded with a college student I mentor, Alex Quian. Prior to Summer 2019, Alex shared with me his goal to use his summer break to be productive and leave a positive impact on the community. I challenged him to complete 30 different service projects in 30 days. Alex took on this challenge, and together we were able to complete 30 service projects in July, impact over 1,820 people, create an advisory board which included Dolf Berle (CEO, Topgolf), Nakia Douglas (Executive Director, UNTD Trio), and Zoya Jackson (Administrator, Minnie's Food Pantry), secure sponsorships from companies such as Alkami Technology, Blucora, and VARIDESK, and be featured in a wide array of media and publications.
We have now transformed 30 Days of Service into a non-profit, Young Leaders for Change, which is dedicated to empowering young people to impact their communities and help others. See some of the highlights from our Summer 2019 project below.
